A Prayer

My Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name;
As I call upon You, Abba, I want to honor Your name as holy.

thy kingdom come;
Help me to bring Your righteousness, Your peace, Your justice, Your goodness wherever I go.

thy will be done;
What is Your will for me? For the people around me? For this world?

on earth as it is in heaven.
Let the things of this earth mirror the things of Your dwelling place.

Give me this day my daily bread.
You know what I need and You desire to provide. I ask You to fill my cup. Bring healing for my mind. Sustain me with Your strength. Give me Jesus.

And forgive me my trespasses, as I forgive those who trespass against me
Lord, just as I have been freely forgiven, so immerse me in Your way of mercy. Restore relationships—be it with friends or family, near or far.

And lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil
Father, You know my thoughts and my ways. Guide me in pursuing truth and holiness.
Keep me in the path of peace as my Shepherd. Protect me with Your spiritual armor.

for thine is the kingdom,
Inhabit the kingdom of my mind, my heart, my soul, my body.

the power and the glory,
I honor You and I glorify You.

for ever and forever.
